Blog 3: My dream job

 Hello welcome!

My ideal job would be one in which, through my knowledge and tools, I can help those who need it most, such as children, women, sexual dissidences violated or violated by their context and social class.

I am currently studying third year of Psychology, which I like and I hope to practice in the future, through this I would like to focus on the social area.

This entails questioning the structures and institutions that allow injustice, inequality, violence, towards a large part of the population, it is important to have that critical look so that things can change. I would like to work with children and adolescents.

I currently work as a social monitor in a shelter run by a foundation called CIDETS, which has given me different experiences, learning and, above all, motivation to follow that path in the future.

I'm not so worried about the salary, since psychologists are currently paid well. One of my plans is to get a good job, where they pay me well, and through this to be able to help financially and voluntarily in the territorial and political work of the community. These would be the first few years after graduation, however my ultimate goal is for this job to provide me with the means to be able to live in another country and continue learning and practicing there.
