Blog 5: Changes to my study programme

 Hello welcome.

I am in the third year of my psychology degree, although the study program covers all the areas that can be practiced within this degree, it would change the fact that internships are not given so much priority, since they are in the last year, I feel that practice is just as important as theory, and just focuses too much on the latter.

After all, we need to know how to relate to our future patients, and for this human contact is necessary, beyond just reading or being in class. Including that there are more land exits

Regarding the teaching methods regarding the teachers, it seems to me that they teach well and are also aware of the different realities of the students, being understanding when there are problems. They explain clearly and critically. That is important. However, I do not agree that university education lasts 5 years. it should be less.

Regarding the academic load, we have a lot of free time, but when they give us tests or deliveries they do it all together within two weeks. There is a bad organization in terms of scheduling the evaluations.

In terms of infrastructure, the best thing the campus has is the sports area, the soccer field and the swimming pool, I find them phenomenal. However, I would add more green areas to the u, since only arts has a lot of space. Since Calama has more cement than grass.

Regarding technology, facso wifi is deficient in some areas, just as in the classrooms they do not have to record the classes.

In summary, the best thing is the way in which the professors pass the subjects, and the worst thing is the little time they give to do the practice, since in other universities you start from the third year.
